how to reach us

There are various way to reach Arugam Bay: the easiest and quickest by taxi van; the cheapest by bus;

 the longest but most interesting by train, Batticaloa being the nearest train station.  For short distances we suggest the bus, for longer trips, a taxi van is more comfortable and flexible.

You can take surf boards on the bus, but not long boards.

If travelling by tuk tuk or van from Pottuvil head south; drive over the Pottuvil bridge and continue driving through the entire Arugam Bay village; As you approach Buddha Junction, stay on the main road turning right; continue until you see the big mushroom shaped water tower.  50m after the water tower turn left into a little road in the middle of a field (or wetlands if its rainy season); we are at the end of the little road, behind the blue house.  You can't miss us.
